MFYBA Developmental Program
If there are enough interested players and volunteer coaches, the MFYBA will offer a Developmental Program. The program is available to boys and girls in 3rd through 7th grades based on the number of players and coaches. Players will receive two practices per week October through Decebmer and will have the option to participate in tournaments in lieu of a league at the coaches' discretion and for an additional tournmament fees. At the beginning of the Rec League season in January, the players will automatically transfer to the Rec League to finish out their season. The cost of the program includes a shirt, practices and participation in the Developmental Program and Rec League.
Provided by the Menomonee Falls High School, the camps are for members of the boys and girls Junior Phoenix only. The camps feature intense workouts aimed at improving individual skills, competitive team play, and skills competitions. The focus of the camps are on participating in high school skills and drills to prepare for the "next level". Each athlete will receive coaching from the MFHS Varsity Head Coaches and the coaching staff. Athletes will also get an opportunity to play alongside Varsity basketball players and be coached by them during drills and competitions. There is a fee for the camp. Each camper receives a t-shirt. The camp is usually held within the first few weeks after school is released for the summer.
